Skyline view of Philadelphia, PA (large)

While Philadelphia may be known for its cheesesteaks and soft pretzels, it also offers a mighty brunch selection. Philadelphia is gorgeous, with architecture dating back to colonial times in some areas of the city. Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence was signed, and the Liberty Bell are the two main reasons you should visit Philadelphia, but the city itself is a historical goldmine. Philadelphia is one of 12 US cities to have all four major sports, so be sure to check out a game when you're in town.
