Easter Day

Easter Day is a Christian holy day where the miracle of Jesus' resurrection and the sacrifice he made for our sins are remembered.

Even if you aren't a Christian, you can still enjoy a great brunch at the following restaurants that thought he was at least worth menu space.

2011: April 24
2012: April 8
2013: March 31

2015: April 5

Skyline view of Portland, ME (large)

The popular city on the West coast was actually named for Portland, Maine - and rightly so. Home to over 1/3 of Maine's population, the city has immense historic value and lots of unique areas. Check out the Old Port's cobblestone streets, fishing piers, and quirky little shops. There's even an Old Port Festival, which occurs in June and has everything from lobster-eating contests to mini golf. SPACE Gallery is great for new art, with lots of contemporary or live action art and performances. Portland is also home to several microbreweries, including the popular Maine Beer Company.
