Skyline view of Anchorage, AK (large)

Anchorage has the largest population of all Alaskan cities, which means it has a higher chance of being home to a more diverse selection of brunch. Wildlife is abundant, and depending on the season, bears, moose, mountain goats, foxes, and other animals can be spotted in the city itself. Popular fishing spots, such as the Kenai Peninsula, are south of the city. Summer is the best time for visiting, with temperatures usually in the 50s and 60s Fahrenheit. Downtown Anchorage is home to the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts, whose shows are a big draw for people all over Alaska.
